What wonderful, amazing work you do. Could you tell me what colors you use to mix gold. I've tried all formulas I've come across and some of my own, but none as close to realistic as what you have achieved.

Thank you Lokelani for all of your generous comments through the year.
About gold color:
I can only share some tips that you might already know. Gold is a warm reflective metal,so like a mirror, it simply reproduces everything around with warmth opposed to the coldness of silver. For the colors and the textures I never "try" to match reality,I rather consider every aspects of a painting as an abstraction which is less mind-boggling . To help you understand what I mean, click on the images and have a closer look on the "gold" details, you will notice that there's no one color but a large spectrum. Happy Holidays!

A very belated Merry Christmas... and Happy New Year!

What beautiful little details of your wonderful teacups. I'm sure there were many Christmas dinners using china dishes with wonderful patterns just like these.

Thank you for sharing your breathtaking talent with us.
